This book is a key textbook for Marxist theoretical research and construction projects compiled by the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee and the China Law Society.

The book consists of one Introduction, 15 Chapters, and one Concluding Part. The introduction part starts from the scientific positioning of "China's constitutional theory in the new era is the constitutional theory in Xi Jinping thought on the rule of law" and systematically explains the main content, essence, original contribution, and great significance of China's constitutional theory in the new era. Chapters 1 to 15 are the main part of this book, which is roughly divided into three major sections. Chapters 1 to 4 generally discuss constitutional principles and basic theories, Chapters 5 to 13 discuss theories of constitutional institutions, and Chapters 14 to 15 discuss theories of constitutional implementation. The concluding part aims to consolidate the guiding position of China's constitutional theory in China's rule of law education in the new era, and expounds the guiding position and significance of China's constitutional theory in the new era in China's constitutional law teaching, legal education, publicity of and education on the rule of law for all, and external publicity of the rule of law.
