On June 11, 2021, Professor Liao Fan, Deputy Director General of CASS Bureau of International Cooperation and a research fellow at CASS Institute of International Law, was interviewed by CGTN (China Global Television Network) channel “The Link” on the recently adopted Anti-Sanctions Law by the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress. In the interview, Professor Liao interpreted and commented on the new law mainly from such perspectives as the necessity and legitimacy of the law, and the relationship between the law and the relevant stipulations in the existing Provisions on the Unreliable Entity List and Rules on Counteracting Unjustified Extra-territorial Application of Foreign Legislation and Other Measures.
