In order to provide legal wisdom and guarantee for better servicing the real economy, preventing and controlling financial risks, and deepening financial reform, CASS Law Institute, CASS Institute of International Law, Beijing Financial Court, Beijing Financial Street Service Bureau, and the Xicheng Park Management Committee of Zhongguancun Science and Technology Park decided to jointly establish the Fintech Legal Research Center.

On July 22,2021 the ceremony for the signing of the agreement on the joint-construction of the Fintech Legal Research Center and the inauguration of the Center was held at the Beijing Financial Court. The ceremony was attended by leaders and staff members from various cooperative units and reporters from a number of news media.

Professor Chen Guoping, Secretary of the Joint Party Committee of CASS Law Institute and CASS Institute of International Law, Professor Mo Jihong, Director of CASS Law Institute, Professor Li Honglei, Deputy Director of CASS Law Institute, and Professor Wang Ying, Deputy Director of CASS Law Institute and CASS Institute of International Law, attended the ceremony. Also attending the ceremony were Ms. Chen Lihua, Head of the General Office of CASS Law Institute and CASS Institute of International Law, Ms. He Jingjing, an associate research fellow at CASS Institute of International Law, and Mr. Zhou Hui, an associate research fellow at CASS Institute of Law.

At the ceremony, the participants watched a short video on the establishment of Beijing Financial Court, and conducted on-site investigation of the Beijing Financial Court's big data center, electronic files automatic generation center, multiple dispute resolution and litigation docking center, digital court and other infrastructures of the Court.

Professor Chen Guoping, Mr. Sun Shuo, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Xicheng District of Beijing Municipality, and Mr. Cai Huiyong, President of Beijing Financial Court, jointly inaugurated the Fintech Legal Research Center.
