The first lecture of the "Law Research Methods Series" of the Shatan Youth Forum, hosted by CASS Institute of Law and CASS Institute of International Law, was successfully held on August 30, 2022. Professor Liu Huawen, Deputy Director of CASS Institute of International Law and executive editor-in-chief of Chinese Review of International Law, gave a lecture entitled "The International Law Perspective of Legal Research" and Professor Zhu Guangxin, deputy head of the Civil Law Department of CASS Institute of Law and deputy editor-in-chief of Civil Law and Commercial Law Review, gave a lecture entitled “My View on the Writing of Articles for Academic Periodicals” at the forum, which was presided over by Professor Xie Zengyi, deputy director of CASS Institute of Law and attended by more than 30 young researchers from the two institutes. A total of nine lectures have been given under Shatan Youth Forum Lecture Series in 2022 - all of which have received good responses. The launch of a new series of "Legal Research Methods" aims to help young researchers better grasp legal research methods, especially the writing methods of academic papers and countermeasures reports, and promote the output of high-quality legal research results.
