The third lecture ofthe Forum on Foreign-related Rule of Law, jointly organized by the Foreign-related Rule of Law Research Baseand the Center for Foreign-related Rule of Law Studies of CASS Institute of International Law, was held in Beijing on August 17, 2022. The lecture, entitled "Theory and Practice of Financial Judgment", was given by Professor Chen Su, a member of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and a research fellow atCASS Institute of Law.In the lecture, Professor Chen took the legal issues related to bank cards as the main line, combined with legal viewpoints, judicial cases and foreign-related issues, to explain the principles of financial law in simple terms. Hesuggested that young experts and scholars, especially judges engaged in front-line trial work, focus on understanding the development process of finance and comprehensively master financial laws and regulations, remain true to the original intent of legislation, and focus on the inherent relationship between law and economy.The forum was presided over by Zhang Jingui, Head of the Department Research Coordination and Foreign Cooperation of CASS Institute of Law, and attended by young experts and scholars from the Beijing Xicheng District People's Court, CASS Institute of Law and CASS Institute of International Law.
