The Seminar on the Drafting of Contract Validity Rules in the Judicial Interpretation of the Book on Contract of the Chinese Civil Code, sponsored by the Center for Private Law Studies of CASS Institute of Law, was successfully held in Beijing on August 18, 2022. The seminar was attended by experts and scholars from the Supreme People's Court, the Legislative Affairs Commission of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, Beijing High People's Court, the National Judges College, Peking University, Tsinghua University, Renmin University of China, China University of Political Science and Law, Zhongnan University of Economics and Law, Beijing University of Science and Technology, and CASS Institute of Law. At the seminar, the participants expressed their opinions and put forward suggestions on the drafting of the rules of contract validity in the judicial interpretation of the Book on Contract of the Chinese Civil Code.
