On May 17, a ceremony was held for the establishment of the "Rule of Law Collaborative Innovation Center of Zhuhai Special Economic Zone", the “Hengqin Base of CASS Think Tank on Comprehensive Law-based Governance" and the "Research Base of Foreign-related Rule of Law of the Law School of the University of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences" in Qinao International Legal Service Concentration Area of Hengqin Guangdong-Macao Deep Cooperation Zone (hereinafter referred to as Cooperation Zone).

At the ceremony, representatives from CASS Institute of Law, the Office of the Standing Committee of Zhuhai Municipal People's Congress, the Legal Affairs Bureau of the Cooperation Zone and the Innovation and Development Institute of the Cooperation Zone jointly unveiled the plagues of the "Rule of Law Collaborative Innovation Center of Zhuhai Special Economic Zone", the “Hengqin Base of CASS Think Tank on Comprehensive Law-based Governance" and the "Research Base of Foreign-related Rule of Law of the Law School of the University of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences", and signed a supplementary agreement on cooperation in establishing the "Rule of Law Collaborative Innovation Center of Zhuhai Special Economic Zone".

After the ceremony, Professor Liu Huawen, deputy director of CASS Institute of International Law and vice dean of the Law School of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, gave a lecture entitled "China's Attitude towards and Method of International Law".

The event was also attended by Professor Zhang Chuxia, Party secretary of Law School of the University of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Professor Li Xia, deputy head of the Constitutional and Administrative Law Department of CASS Institute of Law, Professor Li Guangde, an associate research fellow at the Jurisprudence Department of CASS Institute of Law, Dr. Liu Chenqi, an assistant research fellow at Litigation Law Department of CASS Institute of Law, and other relevant staff of CASS Institute of International Law and the Innovation and Development Institute of the Cooperation Zone.
