The launching ceremony of the Annual Report on Informatization of China Courts No.7 (2023) and the Seminar on Informatization of China Courts, jointly sponsored by CASS Institute of Law and Social Science Academic Press, was held in Beijing on May 25, 2023. The Blue Book of Court Informatization isacomprehensive evaluation and analysis of the effectiveness of and problems in court informatization construction in China, focusing on the results of the application of informatization.

According to the annual report,in 2022, steady progress was in the informatization of people's courts, people's access to litigation services became more convenient, enforcement of judgments was mademore efficient with the help of intelligent applications, judicial management activities based on massive data and intelligent analysis became more accurate, the ability and level of social governance were improved in an all-round way through judicial big data, explorations were madein the construction of a procedural rule system that is adapted to the Internet age and ensures the orderly online operation of justice, and the overall framework of Version 4.0 of Informatization of People's Courtswas basically completed.

China achieved remarkable resultsin the construction of smart courts in 2022. In the future, people's courts in China will continue to deepen the construction of smart courts, improve the Internet judicial model, focus on building the knowledge-centered Version 4.0 of Informatization of People's Courts with smart court brains as the core and judicial data as the driving force, promote the leap-forward development of the trial system and trial ability, and strive to create a higher level of digital justice.
