Recently, the Research Team on the Investigation of the National Situation of the Rule of Law of the CASS Institute of Law, headed by Professor Tian He, director of CASS Center for Studies of National Rule of Law Index, and Professor Lu Yanbin, a research fellow and the head of the Department of Survey and Studies of National Situation of the Rule of Law, CASS Institute of Law, went to Guangzhou to carry out investigations on the connectivity of rules between the Mainland and Hong Kong and Macao, the construction of source governance mechanism for enterprises-related litigation, and the construction of smart courts.
During the trip, the research team held discussions on the connectivity of rules between the Mainland and Hong Kong and Macao with judicial officials of the Intermediate People's Court of Guangzhou City, the People's Court of Panyu District, the People's Court of Nansha District, the People's Court of Huangpu District and the People's Court of Huadu District, observed the achievements made by Guangzhou courts in the construction of smart courts, and carried out on-the-spot investigation in Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area and "the Belt and Road" Legal Service Cluster (Nansha, Guangzhou).
The research team also carried out investigation in Guangzhou Urban Planning Exhibition Center and Nansha New District Planning Exhibition Hall and visited Guangzhou Automobile Aion New Energy Automobile Co., Ltd., Guangzhou Automobile Research Institute, Guangzhou Zhongke Aerospace Exploration Technology Co., Ltd., Ponny.ai, Vipshop Headquarters and Guangzhou Haige Communication Group Co., Ltd. to learned about the innovative development and legal affairs in these enterprises.
