Mr. Jiang Jianguo, member of the Standing Committee and deputy director of the Ethnic and Religious Affairs Committee of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and executive vice president of China Society for Human Rights Studies, visited CASS Center for Human Rights Studies and held a symposium with members of the Center on November 28, 2023. The symposium was presided over by Mr. Fang Jun, deputy secretary-general of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, and attended by Professor Li Lin, a member of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Professor Mo Jihong, director of CASS Institute of Law and director CASS Center for Human Rights Studies, and some other staff members of the Center.

At the symposium, Professor Mo Jihong reported on the work of the Center and Professor Li Lin and other experts and scholars of the Center exchanged views and carried out discussions with Mr. Jiang Jianguo on such issues as the publicity and interpretation of Xi Jinping's important expositions on respecting and safeguarding human rights, research on human rights theories, the construction of "three major systems", international exchanges and cooperation, and the construction of talent team in the field of human rights.
