The opening ceremony of the "Cyber and Information Law" Youth Training Camp (No 1, 2024) was successfully held at the Institute of Law, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences on August 22, 2024. The training camp is jointly sponsored by the Cyber and Information Law Society under China Law Society and the Cyber and Information Law Department of CASS Institute of Law, organized by the Cyber and Information Law Department of CASS Institute of Law with the assistance from the Editorial Board of Cyber Information Law Studies, and attended by forty young students from nearly 30 universities.

The opening ceremony, held at 14: 00 pm in the conference room of CASS Institute of Law, was presided over by Professor Xie Zengyi, deputy director of CASS Institute of Law. Mr. Jiang Wei, vice president of the Cyber and Information Law Society under China Law Society and vice chairman of the Advisory Committee of the Supreme People's Court, and Professor Mo Jihong, the director of and a research fellow at CASS Institute of Law, each delivered a speech at the ceremony.

The teachers at the four-day "training camp" include not only scholars from China Law Society, Renmin University of China, Cyber Science Research Institute, and CASS Institute of Law but also experts from platform enterprises such as Tencent, JD.COM, Douyin and Sina, forming a teaching team covering different fields of industry, teaching and research. In terms of teaching methods, it not only includes the teaching of theories of cyber and information law but also organizes on-site practical training in platform enterprises to provide students with different forms of learning experiences.
