The 2024 Conference of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences on the Work for Retired Employees was held on October 11, on the occasion of the Double Ninth Festival, a traditional Chinese festival for honoring, loving and helping the elderly. At the conference, 8 institutes of the Academy, including CASS Institute of Law, were commended for their outstanding work for retired employees. Ten individuals, including Professor Yang Yifan, a retired research fellow at CASS Institute of Law, were awarded the honorary title of "Retired Employee of the Year". Professor Mo Jihong,  Director of CASS Institute of Law, delivered speech at the conference.
