The first session of the lecture series "Lecture Hall on Intra-Party Regulations and State Laws That Should Be Known and Understood by All", organized by the Joint Party Committee of CASS Institute of Law and CASS Institute of International Law, was held on April 29, 2025. At this session, Professor Li Lin, a member of CASS and a research fellow at CASS Institute of Law, gave a lecture on "Innovative Development of Xi Jinping Thought on the Rule of Law". In the lecture, Professor Li Lin explained what innovative development is from five dimensions, and expounded the innovative development of Xi Jinping Thought on the Rule of Law based on specific content and the new contributions made by Xi Jinping Thought on the Rule of Law to the innovative development of the Marxist theory of the rule of law, the theory of socialist rule of law with Chinese characteristics, China's excellent traditional legal culture, and the rule of law civilization of mankind, as well as the enrichment and development of Xi Jinping Thought on the Rule of Law by the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and the Third Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee. The lecture was attended by more than 110 staff members of the two institutes.
