The 2026 Annual Work Conference of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences was held in Beijing on January 15-16, 2026. During the conference, an award-giving ceremony was held for the 2021-2025 awards for advanced collectives and advanced individuals of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. At the ceremony, the Constitutional and Administrative Law Department of CASS Institute of Law was given the award for "Advanced Collective of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences", and Professor Xie Hongfei of the CASS Institute of Law was given the award for "Advanced Individual of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences".
