CASS Institute of Law and CASS Institute of International Law the Law Institute and the Institute of International Law held a meeting of all staff members on March 17, 2026 to study the important speeches delivered by Xi Jinping during this year’s session of National People's Congress and the spirit of the NPC and CPPCC sessions, and to make comprehensive arrangements for the implementation of the spirit. Professor Sun Xianzhong, a member of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, a deputy to the National People's Congress and a member of CASS, shared his experience in performing his duties as a deputy to the National People's Congress. The meeting was presided over by Professor Li Honglei, secretary of the Joint Party Committee of the two CASS institutes.
