In April 2026, the Institute of Law of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences released the Blue Book on the Rule of Law--the Report on the Development of the Rule of Law in China No. 24 (2026). This year’s blue book contains a data version of the general report, which presents a panoramic view of the progress in the development of the rule of law made by China through seven chapters and more than 100 sets of data, using data to explain the rule of law and help readers understand China.
