Professor Zhou Hanhua Gives Lecture on the Crime of Violation of Citizen’s Personal Information at the Cyber Security Legal Summit (2020)


 

 

 

The Cyber Security Legal Summit (2020), jointly hosted by China Criminal Law Society, China Criminal Law Research Center of Renmin University of China and Tencent Security Strategy Research Department, formally went online on December 24, 2020. Professor Zhou Hanhua, deputy director of CASS Law Institute, gave a lecture entitled Reflections on the Crime of Violation of Citizen’s Personal Information at the summit. The predecessor of the Summit was “Internet Security and Criminal Law Summit Forum”. It was renamed “Cyber Security Legal Summit (2020)” and held in the form of online conference in 2020. The 2020 summit was attended by experts and scholars from such universities and research institutions as Renmin University of China, Peking University, Tsinghua University, China University of Political Science and Law, Beijing Normal University, and CASS, as well as such government and judicial institutions as the Supreme People’s Procuratorate and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. At the summit, the participants carried out discussions and exchanged opinions on frontier issues and difficult problems in the field cyber-security and criminal law and explored the solution to these problems by pooling their wisdoms.
