Abstract: The compliance mechanism in the Sino-US Economic and Trade Agreement includes the reporting and public comment system, the supervision system, the dispute resolution system, the reciprocity and retaliation system, and the treaty adjustment system, which embody the idea of "management before compulsion". Among these systems, the reporting and public comment system and the supervision system can be linked with the dispute settlement system, leading to reciprocal and retaliatory measures. They respond to some of the United States' WTO reform demands and may lead to greater pressure on China. In light of the gaming between China and the United States on the enforceability of the China-US Economic and Trade Agreement, in the future, China should first choose multilateral channels when managing differences between China and the United States and focusing on Sino-US cooperation. And, in light of the changes in the domestic situation in the United States, China should exert positive influence on the absolute and relative benefits of Sino-US cooperation and promote the realization of mutual benefit and win-win results.
