
Abstract: Chinese modernization, as the central mission of the Communist Party of China and the nation during China’s new journey in the new era, is pivotal to further progress in building China into a great country and advancing national rejuvenation on all fronts. This modernization paradigm has unlocked vast prospects for theoretical, institutional, practical, and methodological innovations in the socialist rule of law with Chinese characteristics, endowing contemporary legal civilization with new connotations. It delineates a series of new missions in comprehensively advancing law-based governance and constructing a rule of law system with Chinese characteristics, while laying out comprehensive and multi-dimensional requirements for the full implementation of the rule of law. Through these efforts, China’s legal practices will contribute to the evolution of global legal civilization by offering Chinese wisdom, solutions, and strength.
