Abstract: This paper focuses on the determination of Marxist jurisprudence and its applicable domain as the basic research direction. The construction of China's rule of law needs to be guided by Marxist jurisprudence. To develop Marxist jurisprudence, it is necessary to define its category and find its appropriate applicable domains. Marxist jurisprudence is the jurisprudence that upholds the leadership of the Communist Party, public ownership and the leadership of the proletariat. It takes building socialist rule of law as its basic goal, and is applicable to the political, institutional, the rule of law, legal, and human domains. After determining the appropriate domains, Marxist jurisprudence will inevitably become concretized, resulting in the corresponding thoughts of rule of law. The deep integration of Marxist jurisprudence and specific thoughts on the rule of law will gradually give birth to systematic socialist jurisprudence.
