Abstract: The rule of law is an important guarantee for Chinese-style modernization and the track to follow in comprehensively deepening the reform. To deepen the reform in the field of the rule of law, China must gasp the following eight key points: first, grasping the key point of "reform" to properly handle the relationship between the reform and the rule of law; second, grasping the key point of "system" to give full play to the guarantee role of the rule of law in consolidating the foundation, stabilizing expectations and benefiting the long-term development; third, grasping the key point of "perfection" to promote the construction of China's rule of law system and build a modernized socialist country in an all-round way on the track of rule of law; fourth, grasping the key point of "good law" to deepen the reform in the legislative field and improve the socialist legal system with Chinese characteristics with the Constitution as the core; fifth, grasping the key point of "good governance" to further promote law-based administration; sixth, grasping the key point of "regular pattern" to solidly promote fair administration of justice and ensure that the comprehensive reform of the judicial system is stable and far-reaching; seventh, grasping the key point of "people" to accelerate the construction of a law-based society and build the social foundation of a law-based state; and eighth, grasping the key point of "short-board" to make up for the shortcomings in the construction of the foreign-related rule of law as soon as possible and accelerate the construction of China's foreign-related rule of law system and related capacity building.
