Xiao Jing: Report on the Development of the Rule of Law in the Field of Financial Stability in China in 2024


 
 
Abstract: In 2024, China had made great efforts and achieved remarkable results in the construction of the rule of law in the field of finance in such aspects as legislation, law enforcement, administration of justice, and observance of law. Significant progress had been made in the legislative work on financial stability. Many relevant laws and administrative regulations have been included in the central legislative plan. The formulation of financial laws was clearly proposed. New progress had been made in the formulation of many relevant laws, administration regulations and rules; Financial regulatory authorities adopted measures to actively and steadily prevent and defuse financial risks, strengthen the construction of financial stability law enforcement agencies and working mechanisms, further improve the judicial institutions of financial stability, and effectively handle judicial cases related to financial stability. In 2025, China will comprehensively and thoroughly implement major decisions and arrangements made at the Third Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China in the financial field, comprehensively strengthen financial supervision, further strengthen financial judicial work, and comprehensively improve financial stability judicial capabilities.
